The vacation anniversary date is adjusted whenever the employee is on

leave without pay for more than six months or is separated from State

service for a period of six to twelve months. The vacation anniversary date
is adjusted by adding the number of months and days off the payroll due to

Generally, persons reemployed after a separation from State service which

exceeds one year are treated as new employees and are assigned a new
           vacation anniversary date.
