shift.

           (c) Work Location

           (1) Transportation maintenance residency personnel shall not be displaced
        from their permanent (non-winter) work location by regional crew and drill

        crew personnel being integrated for the primary purpose of snow and ice
        control.

           (2) A transportation maintenance residency employee who leaves his/her
        permanent (non-winter)  work location shall bid  for  work  location

        assignment  along  with  regional  crew  and  drill  crew  personnel who  are
        integrated for the primary purpose of snow and ice control.

           (3) Assignment of employees to work locations shall be made on the basis
        of seniority as defined in Article 50.

           (d) Shift Assignment
           (1) Where shifts  are established  transportation maintenance  residency

        personnel and regional crew personnel, who are assigned primarily to snow
        and  ice  control  will  be  integrated  for  assignment to shifts. Seniority for

        shift assignment will be the length of  continuous service in OSU titles in
        the Regional DOT Transportation Systems Maintenance.

           (2) Where  shifts  are  established  drill  crew  personnel  who  are assigned
        primarily  to  snow  and  ice  control  will  be  integrated  for assignment to

        shifts. Seniority for shift assignment will be made subject to the provisions
        of Article 50.

           (3) Regional crew  personnel not primarily assigned to snow  and ice
        control, if shifted, will be assigned to shifts based on length of continuous

        service  in  OSU  titles  in  the  Regional  DOT  Transportation Systems

        Maintenance. Drill crew personnel not primarily assigned to snow and ice
        control if shifted will be assigned to shifts based on the provisions of Article
        50.

           (4) Employees assigned to winter maintenance shifts which  require them

        to change their normal working hours to a shift, any part of  which  falls
        between  the  hours  of  6:00  p.m.  and  6:00  a.m.  on  a regularly scheduled

        basis, shall receive $400 for each year of the Agreement winter maintenance
        seasons. Employees eligible to  receive  the  foregoing  payment  shall  not

        receive  inconvenience  pay during the period of their winter maintenance
        shift. Payment will be made during December of the respective season.

           (5) An employee shall receive a two-week notice of shift  change at the
